Winters Barn Canterbury Wedding Photography Jenny and Aaron
I consider myself to be very lucky to attend the weddings I do in Kent and London on a weekly basis and as I said on my Facebook page I am humbled when bride and grooms ask me to photograph their day. I take the responsibility of photographing a wedding very seriously, quite simply I love being a Wedding photographer in the UK.
The wedding of Jenny and Aaron last Saturday at Winters Barn in Canterbury Kent was emotional and inspiring and I met some genuinely amazing people. Thank you to the couple, your family and friends for making me feel so welcome, I hope I have done you proud with your images.
Wedding photography at Winters Barn in Canterbury, Kent is fantastic. Located in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside yet within easy access of London. For a wedding photographer, when a bride gets ready at the same place as getting married and having the reception this is the perfect scenario. Not only is it easier for us you also get many more photos. Winters Barn has a lovely bridal suite so this really is the perfect wedding venue in Kent.
Here are a few of my favourite images from Jenny and Aaron’s Kent wedding. I hope you like them and please feel free to leave a comment.

Archbishops Palace Maidstone Wedding Photography – Olu and Nada
Saturday 11th Feb 2012 was the start of my wedding photography season and what a better way than a wedding in Kent. This was the wedding of Olu and Nada at the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone Kent followed by the reception at the Barn Restaurant. Wedding Photography at the Archbishops Palace in Kent is fantastic with its grade 1 listed features and canal side location.
The weather today was bitterly cold but bright and sunny which is a lovely combination, with snow still laying on the ground. The wedding was an intimate one with close family and friends gathered to watch this lovely couple get wed. Olu and Nada truly are a lovely couple and I thank them and their guests for making me feel so welcome.
Here are some of the wedding photos from their Kent wedding. I hope you like them and please feel free to comment.

Lympne Castle Wedding Photographer
Anita and Ant asked me to be their Lympne Caste wedding photographer only a few months ago and it was date free in my diary… New Years Eve. The medieval Lympne Castle in Kent really is a fantastic venue to get married with so many photo opportunities, even on cold dark winter nights. Anita and Ant wanted a mixture of documentary images and a posed contemporary style, which is exactly how I approach a wedding day. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible during the documentary phase and the contemporary posed images are done quickly and efficiently, allowing my couples to get back to their guests as soon as possible.
The weather at this New Years Eve wedding at Lympne Castle was actually quite mild so Anita and Ant were up for going outside for some photos.
I would like to thank the couple for choosing me to be their Lympne Castle wedding photographer. As normal here is a selection of images from the day. Please feel free to comment…

If you’re getting married at Lympne Castle and are looking for a wedding photographer please do get in touch. I offer discounts for couples who get married and have their reception at the same venue.
Lympne Castle weddings – Angela and Ed
Last Saturdays wedding I have been looking forward to ever since Angela and Ed asked me to photograph their Lympne Castle wedding. Lympne Castle is a beautiful 13th century Castle in Kent which is a popular wedding venue in Kent and one that I will be visiting many times in 2012.
Angela and Ed actually got married at St Teresa’s RC Church in Maidstone before heading off to Lympne Castle for the reception. It was a fantastic day even the weather held up for most of the day, even the sun made an appearance just as the couple left the church. Sadly it was well and truly gone by the time I started the group photos back at the castle.
Here are a few of favourite photographs of the day. Please feel free to comment below
Brandshatch Place Hotel and Spa Wedding Photography – Christine and Neil
This week I was at the Brandshatch Place and Spa in Kent to photograph the wedding of Christine and Neil. The 1806 Georgian mansion Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa is a lovely venue to get married with 12 acres of stunning Kent countryside which allows amazing wedding photography.
Now I love a wedding day where I am there from the bride getting ready though to the 1st dance as it gives me the chance to really document the whole day as I see it. I met with Christine and her bridesmaid early on to get some photographs of them all getting ready, I even managed to get some hair shine (I think that’s what it is called) sprayed on my hair.
Neil and the boys were getting ready in the room opposite so I popped over there to see what they were getting up to whilst the girls finished getting ready.
The rest of the day seemed to go so quickly and before I knew it Christine and Neil were sitting down for their wedding breakfast. This was the perfect time for me to do a little surprise for the couple, a sneak preview slide show of some of the images from the day. I think it went down well and Neil and Christine and of course their guests enjoyed it.
I would like to wish Christine and Neil a wonderful marriage, they really are a lovely couple and thank you for allowing me to photograph your day. Also a thanks to the friends and family who made me feel so welcome on the day.
Finally thanks to the staff at the Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa for a wonderful meal and Kevin Brown my assistant and second photographer at KS Images
Here are some of the images from the day, I hope you like them and please fell free to comment.
Mount Ephraim in Kent Wedding Photography – Michael and Faith
What an absolutely amazing wedding venue. Mount Ephraim is located near Faversham and Canterbury in Kent. We were very lucky on the day as the weather stayed on our side and did not rain. I turned up a little early to have a good look around Mount Ephraim to scope out the amazing gardens for fantastic wedding photography opportunities and was equally as stunned with the interior, the staircase and of course the reception room.
After spending sometime at Mount Ephraim I headed off to meet with Faith to get some photographs of her getting wedding. Faith looked classically elegant in her dress, she was also very calm and relaxed considering such a big day was about to unfold. After spending 30minutes with Faith I drove off to St Andrew’s church in Wickhambreaux Kent. Now the true test of a great wedding photographer is to be able to cope with any sort of pressure a wedding day throws at you. In this case it was a blown tyre on the way to the church. My beautiful Jaguar decided she didn’t want to get me to the church so without hesitation I ditched the car, jumped into a taxi and carried on my journey.
After the service we all headed back to Mount Ephraim for the wedding breakfast.
I would like to thank Faith and Michael for allowing me to photograph their day, it was a pleasure. I would also like to thank the fantastic staff at Mount Ephraim.
I hope you like this small selection of photos taken from the day, please feel free to comment.

Wedding Photography at Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone Kent | Carolee-Ann and Zach
I love it when a bride and groom love photography and are up for trying out some new things. Predominantly I am reportage wedding photographer but I do enjoy creating different stylized images. Carolee-Ann and Zach got married in the beautiful Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone, Kent. It was a small affair with just close family and friends. We then headed off to the Swan Restaurant, a Michelin Listed Brasserie in West Malling, Kent. Wow, what a trendy, relaxing
place to have a wedding reception in Kent.
Here are some photos from the day, I hope you enjoy them and please feel free to comment.
