Anita and Ant asked me to be their Lympne Caste wedding photographer only a few months ago and it was date free in my diary… New Years Eve. The medieval Lympne Castle in Kent really is a fantastic venue to get married with so many photo opportunities, even on cold dark winter nights. Anita and Ant wanted a mixture of documentary images and a posed contemporary style, which is exactly how I approach a wedding day. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible during the documentary phase and the contemporary posed images are done quickly and efficiently, allowing my couples to get back to their guests as soon as possible.
The weather at this New Years Eve wedding at Lympne Castle was actually quite mild so Anita and Ant were up for going outside for some photos.
I would like to thank the couple for choosing me to be their Lympne Castle wedding photographer. As normal here is a selection of images from the day. Please feel free to comment…

If you’re getting married at Lympne Castle and are looking for a wedding photographer please do get in touch. I offer discounts for couples who get married and have their reception at the same venue.

lovelly images as ever…
Iain, these are fantastic, I really love the shoes picture, the wood on the frame brings a rustic feel to it, nice to see something different in what can be a standard shot.
Well done Iain – I really love the way you have used off camera flash. This makes the cake cutting image. Guests can never replicate good lighting skills with their cameras – this shows why you should have a “proper” photographer.
These pictures are fantastic, we could not have asked for better pictures. You really have reflected how great the day was and have given us some precious photos for keepsake. Thank you so much and for anyone looking at these photos we would highly recommend Iain who was extremely professional and discreet. Mrs & Mr Hickman
