Asian Wedding Photography at Westerham Golf Club by Gomes Photography. A couple of weeks ago I was with Lee and Deepika to photograph their Hindu ceremony at Westerham Golf club in Kent . This was the second time this year that I have been asked to photograph a wedding at Westerham Golf Club. It’s a great venue with stunning views across the golf course. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming.
I really enjoy photographing Asian weddings as the vibrant colours, the fast pace and the finer details really compliments my style of wedding photography.

Kent Wedding Photography at the Riverhill Himalayan Gardens: I remember vividly the email that Michael and Louise sent me enquiring about my Kent wedding photography as the name of the venue really stood out.. Riverhill Himalayan Gardens. Not only that the couple described how the marquee was going to be decorated in Bombay boudoir theme by the Arabian Tent Company. I love weddings like this so was delighted when they chose me to photograph their big day.

Weddings at Addington Palace: Earlier in the month I was at the stunning Addington Palace in Surrey to photograph the wedding of Jane and Nigel. The day was a mix of sunshine and rain. I think the couple were fortunate that most of the day was in fact dry, which for this Summer is quite a surprise.
It was back in November when Jane and Nigel contacted me to photograph their wedding. In fact the ceremony was in St Edmund’s Beckenham, literally a stones throw from where I was born back in 1975.

I love photographing weddings at High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It really is one of those unique wedding venues which, if you’re brave enough can give you some of the most amazing wedding photos. Obviously you need an experienced wedding photographer to be able to see the images and come up with images that are unique and stylish

Hall Place and Gardens in Kent Wedding Photography: Hall Place and Gardens in Kent Wedding Photography is great however sometimes, just sometimes the weather is so bad on a wedding day that outdoor photographs simply isn’t going to happen. The jubilee weekend in London was one of those weekends. For Louise and Brandon whose wedding I photographed at the stunning Hall Place and Gardens the weather was deeply disappointing. So in true style we got together a few days later, when the weather had cheered up and did some outdoor photographs.
Brandon and Louise were keen to get back into their wedding outfits for an hours shoot.

I first met Louise back in February when she asked me to photograph her wedding at Hall Place and Gardens in Bexley, Kent. Brandon, a US serving Soldier was back in the US so we had a chat over Skype to discuss their wedding photography requirements. Louise and Brandon wanted a mixture of natural documentary wedding photography with a few posed shots and a handful of groups.

Hop Farm in Kent Wedding Photography: My Jubilee weekend was very busy with three fantastic Kent weddings to photograph. On Jubilee Sunday I was at Hop Farm in Kent to photograph the open-air wedding of Emma and Chris. I knew that Emma was desperate for an outside wedding so I was a little worried when I arrived to find it raining and not looking likely to stop. When Chris arrived he seemed pretty calm and relaxed and was leaving the decision to have the ceremony outside or in to the bride (wise man). I was delighted to see the registrar who was at one of my weddings the previous week as he is a very relaxed man and appreciates it’s the brides day and was happy to accommodate her wishes. As he happens it stopped raining long enough to have the ceremony outside.

Kent Wedding Photographer: I first met Julie, what seems like years ago but was in fact only last October, at her home in Tunbridge Wells in Kent to discuss her May 2012 Wedding. Tim at the time was out working so Julie explained to me the plans for her wedding and the type of wedding photography she was after. Natural, not overly posed and lots of photos of family and friends having a good time. As this type of wedding photography is my speciality I was delighted when Julie and Tim commissioned me to be their Kent wedding photographer.

Westerham Golf Club Wedding Photography: I normally shoot weddings in Central London so when I am commissioned to photograph a Kent Wedding I jump at the opportunity. Wedding Photography in Kent is always going to be a treat considering it’s the ‘Garden of England’ and the views from the balcony at Westerham Golf Club you can see how the county obtained that name.
On Saturday 19th May 2012 I was back in Kent to photograph the wedding of Stephanie and James. The couple tied the knot at All Souls Church in Crockenhill, Kent followed by the reception at the beautiful popular Kent wedding venue, Westerham Golf Club.

Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich Wedding Photography: Last week I was back at the Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich for my second wedding at the venue in 2012 to photograph the wedding of Shanshan and Charlie. The couple only contacted me a couple of months ago to photograph their Greenwich, London wedding and I was delighted when they chose me.
If you’re getting married at the Trafalgar Tavern it really is a fantastic choice as even if the weather isn’t great, the venue is flooded with beautiful light. Once again thanks to the amazing staff at the Trafalgar Tavern for their excellent hospitality.
Swedish Wedding Photography
Swedish Wedding Photography: Last Saturday and Sunday I was in Central London to photograph the two day wedding celebrations of Mili and John. Saturday’s ceremony was at the Swedish Church in Harcourt Street, London followed on Sunday at the SHREE RAM MANDIR Hindu Temple in Southall.
This was the first Swedish wedding I have photographed and it was interesting seeing the cultural differences, although in the part very similar to the UK. The first and obvious difference is that Mili and John both walked down the aisle together. It was a lovely moment seeing them walking down the aisle together smiling at their family and friends. The Swedish church that Mili and John chose to get married is in Harcourt Street Central London. It really is a beautiful church inside with the words ‘Gud ar Karlek’ inscribed above the alter, this translates to ‘God is Love’

Trafalgar Tavern Wedding Photography: On Easter Sunday I was back at the Trafalgar Tavern to photograph the wedding of Vanessa and Mark. Having photographed three Trafalgar Tavern weddings in the last six months and with another four this year at the venue it is quickly becoming my second home. As I am wedding photographer based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich this is not a bad thing at all. I was delighted when the couple told me that they were getting married at the Trafalgar Tavern and they wanted me to document their day. Trafalgar Tavern Wedding Photography is a great experience for any photographer.

Park Plaza Hotel Victoria London Wedding Photographer: On Saturday 10th March 2012 I was with Annabelle and Rafet to photograph their central London wedding. The couple first got in touch with me back in November to discuss their wedding photography requirements. They had seen my website and liked my contemporary modern style of wedding photography. Many of the wedding venues in Central London are amazing for their stylized decor and modern furnishings… For me as a modern wedding photographer in London I was very excited when I met the couple at the Park Plaza Hotel in Victoria. This was to be the setting for their ceremony followed by the reception at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel (formerly the Hisperia Hotel) literally a stones throw away.

I consider myself to be very lucky to attend the weddings I do in Kent and London on a weekly basis and as I said on my Facebook page I am humbled when bride and grooms ask me to photograph their day. I take the responsibility of photographing a wedding very seriously, quite simply I love being a Wedding photographer in the UK.
The wedding of Jenny and Aaron last Saturday at Winters Barn in Canterbury Kent was emotional and inspiring and I met some genuinely amazing people. Thank you to the couple, your family and friends for making me feel so welcome, I hope I have done you proud with your images.

Old Royal Navy College Wedding Photography: On the 18th Feb 2012 I was fortunate enough to be photographing the wedding in Central London of Laura and Raymond. The couple booked me last year after searching in Google for night-time wedding photographers in London and I am delighted they found my website.
When the couple told me that they were getting married at the All Souls Church, Langham Place followed by a meal at the exotic Levant restaurant off Wigmore street and then onto Old Royal Navy College in Greenwich for the wedding reception I knew this would be a wedding to remember.

Saturday 11th Feb 2012 was the start of my wedding photography season and what a better way than a wedding in Kent. This was the wedding of Olu and Nada at the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone Kent followed by the reception at the Barn Restaurant. Wedding Photography at the Archbishops Palace in Kent is fantastic with its grade 1 listed features and canal side location.
The weather today was bitterly cold but bright and sunny which is a lovely combination, with snow still laying on the ground. The wedding was an intimate one with close family and friends gathered to watch this lovely couple get wed. Olu and Nada truly are a lovely couple and I thank them and their guests for making me feel so welcome.

David is an incredible photographer with a style that is certainly bold, something that attracts brides to him. It was a privilege to work alongside David.
Gosfield Hall is a truly stunning Georgian manor house in Gosfield, Essex. Gosfield House was winner of Wedding Ideas magazine ‘Best Wedding Venue’ 2011. It is easy to see why with the stunning oak panelled gallery with a 120ft long aisle perfect for wedding photography.
