Gaynes Park Wedding Photography I was last a Gaynes Park back in October for Lisa and Adam’s wedding and I remember thinking then that this is a wedding venue I’d love to shoot at again. Not only is a set within really picturesque Essex countryside it’s also a very stylish and contemporary wedding venue. It’s little things too like how helpful and friendly the staff are.
So, when Michaela and James commissioned me to photograph their wedding at Gaynes Park I was very pleased. They booked me initially just by viewing my wedding photography gallery but we did manage to get together in person a few weeks before their wedding. I walked away from meeting them knowing that the wedding day was going to be fun and relaxed. In fact Michaela had mentioned how they both love the outdoors and nature, which is another reason they chose Gaynes Park as their wedding venue.
The couples wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful Orangery which lies at one end of the large Victorian Walled Garden. From a wedding photography perspective the lighting in the Orangery is awesome…. and I mean really awesome.
The couple were very lucky with the weather too, although not Sunny it was warm and overcast, again this is perfect weather for wedding photography, beautiful even light. What was really cool was during the group photos a Lancaster Bomber flew by…. I’d like to take credit for arranging this, but that would be a lie 😉
It was now time for the wedding breakfast and I have to mention the stunning the flower display that the couple chose to decorate the tables. Contemporary, stylish and very sophisticated. It was a pleasure to catch up with Marion and her team from Poppies Designer Flowers, finding out more about her successful business.
Once in the Mill Barn at Gaynes Park, the guests settled the bride and groom made their entrance to resounding cheers and applause. A massive thank you to James for taking the time to thank me during his speech. It was such a nice gesture and was very warmly received.
and breathe………. it was time for me to take a break and catch up properly with Zulqar, the wedding videographer for the day. A lovely gentleman and a pleasure to work alongside. Again this is when Gaynes Park really excels.. quite simply the food is stunning.
Perfect weather, a Lancaster Bomber flypast, me to photograph your wedding day what else could a bride and groom want…. how about a Britain’s Got Talent Semi Finalist to entertain your guests??? The couple were joined at their wedding by Francine Lewis, a friend of theirs…. I wish Francine every success in the competition.
Finally’ I would like to say thank you again to Michaela and James for asking me to photograph their wedding at Gaynes Park. It truly was an amazing day.
Here are a few of the images from the day which I hope you enjoy…
