Guildhall London Wedding Photographer: My very last wedding of 2012 was at the incredible twelfth century Guildhall in London. I am not surprised that Anjuli and James chose the Guildhall, which is situated in the heart of the City of London for their wedding reception. It really is one of the most impressive buildings I have photographed in. Not just that but the staff were absolutely amazing.

I first met Anjuli and James via Skype, as they’re based in Singapore, after they came across my website searching in Google for a wedding photographers who had photographed at St Lawrence Jewry. For those who read my blog regularly you may remember Abby and Nathan’s wedding back in May who had their ceremony at St Lawrency Jewry followed by the reception at Drapers Hall.  Anyway we had a good chat over Skype and agreed to meet later in the year when the couple were over making final arrangements.

I think it’s fair to say that the weather on the day was pretty bad. As I, and my assistant (Peter Denness), made our way down to Threadneedles Hotel (which in itself is an amazing hotel and wedding venue) the rain got even heavier and we were drenched. I quickly dried off before going up to see Anjuli and her wedding party for some getting ready shots. The mood was very relaxed….. everyone was in great spirits.

The rest of the wedding day went really well and despite raining for most of the day it did let off to allow Anjuli and James to make the short walk across the court yard from St Lawrence Jewry to the Guildhall.

I would like to mention again the staff at the Guildhall and how professional, organised and helpful they were. From before the wedding day when I was getting regular updates from the Head Wedding Planner, Jemma Beattie at The Perfect Wedding Company  all the way through to the helpful security guards.  The food laid on for my second photographer (Martin Hobby), my assistant and I was simply divine. Also thanks to the following people for making the day go so well and help making my images look so nice
