Hall Place and Gardens in Bexley Kent Wedding Photography by Gomes Photography.
I first met Louise back in February when she asked me to photograph her wedding at Hall Place and Gardens in Bexley, Kent. Brandon, a US serving Soldier was back in the US so we had a chat over Skype to discuss their wedding photography requirements. Louise and Brandon wanted a mixture of natural documentary wedding photography with a few posed shots and a handful of groups.
Hall Place & Gardens in Kent is such a beautiful wedding venue with stunning grounds and classically elegant rooms with tall windows and wood panelled walls. I can honestly say that Hall Place is now one of my favourite wedding venues in Kent as it is just perfect for wedding photography. Anyway these rooms became even more important on Louise and Brandon’s wedding as due to the weather the smaller group shots had to take place indoors. For me this is great as I can light my groups in my own way.
I met Louise at her home in the morning to get some photographs of her getting ready… this was my first encounter with her brothers…. what can I say about Louise’s brothers… these guys were great fun and really looking forward to seeing their sister getting married.
Louise and Brandon’s wedding at Hall Place was an intimate affair with about 60 guests. Everyone on the day really made me feel welcome and I really enjoyed photographing their wedding.
