Kent Life Wedding Photography

Kent Life Wedding Photography:  So when another wedding photographer asked me to photograph his wedding I have to say I was extremely honoured. Martin Hobby is not just any wedding photographer either, he knows his stuff when it comes to wedding photography. He was announced as the SWPP Events Photographer of the Year so was the pressure on for me???? maybe 😉  Dawn his wife to be isn’t exactly a novice with the camera either so even more pressure.

Martin and Dawn decided after much deliberation (I think that’s fair to say) to get married at Kent Life which as the name suggests is in Kent.  Kent Life is actually quite a unique wedding venue with some rather interesting building. Also, I do love a wedding when the ceremony, reception and party are all in the same place.

This isn’t going to be a blog that gushes over the beautiful couple as that isn’t really Martin and Dawn… however in time honoured tradition I will say that Dawn looked stunning… Martin, well as only 24 hours earlier I said that tweed was for old men to him on Facebook I had better keep quiet.. only joking.. Martin you looked dapper…

Their wedding was genuinely a relaxed and fun day… Martin, as you will notice from the images below, was keen that I kept my style for his wedding which I hopefully I have done.

Anyway enough waffle from me here’s a selection of images from Martin and Dawns wedding at Kent Life…. I hope you like them and please do share with your friends and if the moment takes you, leave me a comment…

What a gorgeous set of wedding images you’ve captured here, Iain, and you have SO captured Martin’s personality!!! Love them, and am sure they do too.

Great shots, really capture Martin at his best! Shot of them both by the orange church/building works really well, not seen that at Kent Life before.

You amaze me every time! When I get to the end of a set of your images I feel I was there. You take us through the whole day, emotions and all. That takes some REAL skill. You are one of the few who do it every time! Brilliant as always.

The mark of an exceptional photographer is being able to capture the personality of their subject. I have never met the couple but I can immediately feel their personalities through your images.
For me, you are one of very few photographers that bring the day to life so well in your images. Truly amazing xx
