Blog 1461 300x225 Kent Wedding Photographer Kent Wedding Photographer: I first met Julie, what seems like years ago but was in fact only last October, at her home in Tunbridge Wells in Kent to discuss her May 2012 Wedding. Tim at the time was out working so Julie explained to me the plans for her wedding and the type of wedding photography she was after. Natural, not overly posed and lots of photos of family and friends having a good time. As this type of wedding photography is my speciality I was delighted when Julie and Tim commissioned me to be their Kent wedding photographer.

Julie was getting ready at the Spa Hotel just a few miles down the road so I arrived nice and early, met my assistant for the day (Pete Denness) and we sat down for a coffee to discuss the day, before going to see Julie and her bridesmaids.  I always get to weddings about an hour before I am due to start, that way I can relax before the madness of the wedding day begins.

As the couples wedding was being held in the private grounds of Julies employer and much of planning had been for a ‘Summer’ wedding I think we all breathed a collective sigh of relief when the sun stayed out all day. Photographing weddings in such bright sunlight takes as much skill as a winter wedding in dark conditions due to the harshness of the sun. However you can get some lovely vibrant images in harsh sunlight.

The wedding ceremony went perfectly and Julie and Tim’s day went without a hiccup….

I would like to thank them both again for choosing me to photograph their wedding. Here are some of my favourites for the day:

These pictures are glorious. For us sitting here in Colorado, it’s as if we were there. We can see all the tender moments, and are completely teary eyed. Julie, you are BEAUtiful! You look like a princess! Tim, you handsome dog, YOU! Love seeing my cous! And the parents, so proud, so handsome on this day. THANK you so very much. All love, vicky and John
