Lympne Castle in Kent Wedding Venue

Wedding Photography’s Tryst With Medieval Times

Lympne Castle in Kent Wedding Venue: One of the highlights of London suburbs is the historically relevant places that have remarkably retained their old charm even after centuries. One such destination is the 13th Century Lympne Castle that has not just survived invasions by Danes and Normans, but has also emerged as the favourite wedding destination for couples looking for an ancient backdrop to their memorable day.

Civil weddings and partnerships at the West Drawing Room of the Lympne Castle are a treat for the guests, and the wedding photography capturing the majesty of the medieval castle leaves you guessing about your wedding era! The massive bow window overlooking the south east coast welcomes you to the room with stone fireplace and wood panelling reminding you of the Castle’s glorious past. The room can easily accommodate around 80 guests and is ideal for hosting reception.

For breakfast, the Great Hall offers perfect settings with its part panelled walls, wooden roof beams and gothic-arched windows. Your photographer will simply love these settings as wedding photography in historical places has a unique charm, which can’t be rivalled by the modern wedding venues. The hall has a capacity to host 120 guests.

Wedding photography in Lympne Castle not just brings out the old medieval charm of the place, but also encapsulates some breathtaking views of the gardens, which are lush green with round the clock maintenance by the Castle’s caretakers. Indeed, the Lympne Castle plays a perfect host for the perfect couple!

The pictures are beautiful. Ive always wanted a classic medieval castle setting for my wedding but opted to go the traditional church route.
