Mayfair Wedding Photographer

Mayfair Wedding Photographer: This year I have photographed many many weddings and I can honestly say I have enjoyed all of them. They have all been very different, from Castles in Kent to boutique hotels in central London.

However what makes a wedding enjoyable for me thou isn’t the venue, it’s the people. That may sound like a cliché but it is so very true. It’s very humbling to be asked to photograph a couples special day and then to become friends with them after makes it for me.

Keiko and Cris booked me only a couple of weeks before their wedding day and from Keikos first email I knew I wanted to photograph this wedding. Keiko had clearly spent a lot of time on my website looking at my images and my wedding photography style was exactly what she wanted.

Keiko and Cris’ wedding was over two days with both days starting out at the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair. Wedding photography at the Connaught Hotel in London is awesome.  There’s such a mix of classically beautiful and romantic places to photograph but also contemporary and modern areas as well. I photographer Keiko and her family, who made the trip over from Japan, getting ready at the Connaught before making my way to Wandsworth town hall for the ceremony.  Day two as mentioned started out at the Connaught, Keiko getting back into her wedding dress before we headed out around Mayfair and Hyde Park for some more portraits.  After we got back Keiko put on her Kimono, helped by her mum and family. It was quite amazing to see the what was involved in putting on a  Kimono.

It was then time to go to Claridges in Mayfair for the close family and friends meal.

It really was an incredible two days of wedding photography for me and I would like to thank both Keiko and Cris and their family and friends for being so great.

Here are a few of the images from the day…

I stumbled across this website by chance, don’t worry I’m based up north. Your photographs are absolutely stunning. I have spent about half an hour gazing over your work in awe. Keep it up. I love seeing an exceptional professional rather than Uncle Bob’s flying about.
