Trafalgar Tavern Wedding Photography: On Easter Sunday I was back at the Trafalgar Tavern to photograph the wedding of Vanessa and Mark. Having photographed three Trafalgar Tavern weddings in the last six months and with another four this year at the venue it is quickly becoming my second home. As I am wedding photographer based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich this is not a bad thing at all. I was delighted when the couple told me that they were getting married at the Trafalgar Tavern and they wanted me to document their day. Trafalgar Tavern Wedding Photography is a great experience for any photographer.
The Trafalgar Tavern really is steeped in history and according to their website it was a place where William Gladstone and Charles Dickens could be seen dining. If you’re going there for lunch I can highly recommend the fish and chips. It may not be what William and Charles ate but it’s what I had on Sunday.
On the first floor of the Trafalgar Tavern is the Nelson Banqueting Rooms that are used for the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. The huge bay window floods the ceremony with natural light, this lets me keep the ISO settings relatively low in order to achieve crisp clean images. Another thing that I love about the Tavern is that everything is set up in advance so no manic room change around.
I thoroughly enjoyed Vanessa and Mark’s wedding, a lovely couple, great guests and a fantastic venue.
Here’s a selection of images from the day, I hope you like them. Please feel free to comment.
