Trafalgar Tavern Weddings Wedding Photographer: The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich London is a stunning wedding venue and I am delighted to have four weddings in 2012 already booked plus one more in 2011. Lydia and Richard were married at the Trafalgar this week on a day that weather wise looked very ‘Octoberish’.
Lydia contacted me earlier in the year as she liked my style of documentary wedding photography and was clear from the outset that she wanted pure reportage wedding photography coverage. The Trafalgar Tavern really is a amazing venue with views of Canary Wharf and the O2 and so perfect for documentary wedding photography.
During our pre wedding consultation Lydia mentioned what she had planned for the day both in terms of decoration and events and to say the least I was very excited. For example Japanese Geisha’s, trees in the ceremony room, a boat trip up the Thames, Time Travellers and a good old fashion pub quiz. The attention to detail that both Lydia and Richard and put into their wedding was truly remarkable and there was a plethora of wow moments from the guests, and me too.
The flowers were by Rachel Morgan Wedding Flowers and I have to say were truly stunning… The entertainment was by Underbling and Vow, an hilarious double act containing Cyril and Nana who had the guests on the boat singing, dancing and cracking up.
Anyway as usual here are a selection of my favourite images taken from the day. Please do leave a comment about the images and if you were lucky enough to be a guest on the day share some stories.
If you’re planning on getting married in the Trafalgar Tavern and would like to have an informal discussion about your wedding photography requirements please contact me.
