Lympne Castle weddings: Last Saturdays wedding I have been looking forward to ever since Angela and Ed asked me to photograph their Lympne Castle wedding. Lympne Castle is a beautiful 13th century Castle in Kent which is a popular wedding venue in Kent and one that I will be visiting many times in 2012.
Angela and Ed actually got married at St Teresa’s RC Church in Maidstone before heading off to Lympne Castle for the reception. It was a fantastic day even the weather held up for most of the day, even the sun made an appearance just as the couple left the church. Sadly it was well and truly gone by the time I started the group photos back at the castle.
Lympne Castle really is a special place to get married. The perfect wedding venue in Kent this romantic castle overlooking the sea has everything a bride and groom could want for their wedding day. Lympne Castle has a number of different rooms available to hire for your wedding ceremony, these include:
- The West Wing with a maximum capacity of 85 guests for the ceremony
- The Great Hall with a maximum capacity of 120 guests for the ceremony.
Having photographed a few weddings at Lympne Castle I cannot recommend this venue enough. Not just from a wedding photographers point of view but also I have been lucky enough to sample the food and it really is very good.
Anyway here are a few of my favourite photographs of the day. Please feel free to comment below
