Sole Street House Kent Wedding Photographer

Sole Street House Wedding PhotographerSole Street House Kent Wedding Photographer: It was only when Jo contacted in July me regarding her Kent wedding that I heard about the fantastic Sole Street House as a wedding venue in Kent.  We had a good chat about what she and future hubby Steve were looking for from their wedding photography.  A few hours of coverage to capture the moments before and after the ceremony, keeping it relaxed and unobtrusive.

“Sole Street House near Faversham in Kent, is an old country house full of hidden quirks and quiet charm, standing at the heart of its own small estate in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.” – taken from the venues website.  I think this is a very accurate description of a very unique wedding venue.

To me as a wedding photographer the venues had a very homely feel to it… probably because it’s a private home too. I loved the fact that the children were sitting amongst the bride and groom during the ceremony, it really made them apart of the wedding.  Rosalind Miles and Robin Cross, the current owners were very hospitable and welcoming.

Go for a walk around the grounds of Sole Street House and you will come across the Tree House.  If you fancy something a bit more unique the Tree house, which has been built within an ancient Chestnut tree, is  available for the wedding ceremony.  Jo and Stephen decided to get married in the warm and cosy Drawing Room but we did venture out to the Tree house for some photos.

Here’s a selection of images from Jo and Steve’s wedding at Sole Street House in Kent. I hope you like them.

Thanks for the brilliant photos Iain, you captured the day perfectly! The flower girls on the floor bit wasn’t planned, but it’s always the surprises that make things special. 🙂 You put everyone at ease and helped to make it a relaxed happy day.
